I enjoyed the home-made breakfast, a bit expensive though, but plentiful, healthy, with an array of delicious fruit, freshly pressed juices, tapiocas, home-made cakes, etc Guests may also help themselves with coffee and cold water at any time. We could walk to main attractions (15-20 mn) during the day, but best call Uber in the evening. The surroundings are dilapidated and empty. Not attractive. We were given plenty of useful tips by the owner. Thanks to her. This place made our stay in Belem. A delightful moment.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa da Mata Marajó, surrounded by nature, and were warmly hosted by Marcileia and her family, who made us feel completely at home. The food was delicious, prepared with love and care, and we gained fascinating insights into island life and its unique challenges through great guided tour and visit. Will definitely come back.
