THE BEST PLACE IN THIS PLANET. EVERYTHING WAS GOOD AND WE ENJOYED STAYING HERE. WILL COME BACK SOON. OWNER REALLY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. HEAVEN PLACE!!

Built in 1896 in the Art Nouveau style, the historic Jugendstilhotel Paxmontana, standing on a hill in a beautiful location in the Canton of Obwalden, has won many awards. breakfast was generous and full of options. eggs were only available after 9am due to internal meetings before..I thought that was rather unusual.

The house is very spacious, comfortable and very clean, located in the heart of Giswil next to the train station and next to Coop (lovely supermarket). We loved the idea of leaving the house from the terrace to indulge in the beautiful nature. The view was amazing. The host (Frauke) is a very pleasant, helpful and welcoming person. We loved our stay and everything was perfect. Will definitely come back!

Sandras Flat was our home for 8 nights we spent in Switzerland. Location-wise, it is located in the middle of Interlaken and Lucerne so you can travel to both sides easily with you car. The nearest train station is about 5 minutes walk so getting around is also super easy with public transport. The flat itself is on a 1st floor above the laundry room and is in a quite street with magnificent views on 2 sides. Amenities-wise, the flat has everything that you need. Our family of 4 had great time. The owner was kind enough to stack up the fridge with different items including seasonal fruits, juices and milk carton. Additionally there was bread/cereal/pasta and even full Nutella jar. There was bathrobes, slippers and many clean towels provided. In short, the hospitality was above and beyond anything we've seen anywhere so far. Comfort-wise, the bed was super nice including the sofa bed. When we visited the weather was good with only couple of cloudy/raining days. We had fans to use at night when needed. The big terrace at the back with seating arrangement was really useful as well. We did not hear any noise or any disturbance from the neighbors and the street. The flat itself is quite clean but modern accessories. The bathroom and shower area are well designed. Price-wise, it is quite reasonable considering the effort owner puts in to provide all the amenities. Such comfort and peaceful environment cannot be found at this price point. Overall highly recommended for a couple of small family. Given the opportunity, we would love to stay here again.
