The host does not speak any English so we were challenged to reactivate our high school French. She is so outgoing and patient in her communication that it was delightful to try to figure out what she was telling us and we never felt like we didn’t understand her recommendations, offerings, or expectations. Highly recommended!

The house is made from an old cow barn, very chic and cozy, well furnished and equipped with everything you may need. Bamboo screens divide the large space elegantly so that the bed is nicely located in privacy. Also lovely books and postcards in the collection. As a passer by, I also liked that the house is conveniently located from the highway, which makes it the best stop for driving from north to the south.

Fritz was a kind host. Enjoyed the porch. We were only here for one night as we were driving from Paris to Italy, but it was a perfect spot for the night.
