I had a wonderful stay at these apartments and was very satisfied. The place has a unique and authentic design, making it truly special. Ararat has everything needed for a comfortable stay, with all the necessary amenities and a very clean environment. The location on a hill near the church adds to its charm. The host, Margaret, was incredibly friendly and even gave me a ride to the seminar location. I highly recommend this place!

In the public canteen/cafeteria of the cantonal hospital (entrance from Freie Strasse) nearby (circa 100 m) there is a good breakfast and lunch choice at a a fair and affordable price level (Mo-Fr from 07:00-18:00 hrs; Sa-Su from 08:00-18:00hrs). Otherwise, the pizzeria next door has an à la carte menu for lunch and evening dinner. On request, I could park the car for free for the whole day, after checking out. Newly renovated room. kitchenette, coffee machine, fridge. TV, free wifi. good heating. hot showers.

I am not sure that I can rate this stay, because the owner informed us that there was a flood and the apartment was no longer available, but he offered an alternative. However, he only partially did what he said he would provide us in that alternative apartment so we ended up sleeping on a mattress because the bed was missing the frame. The kitchen was not functional, and the internet was pretty bad. Overall the experience was bad especially because he promised he would fix the bed in the second day of our stay, but then he stopped answering to messages.
