The hotel is very well located (5 minutes walk to shops and restaurants). It can be difficult to find on google maps, but if you type “Mairuika hotel” in Amap, you’ll find it in no time. The room is not big, but is modern (love the lights that automatically turn on when you get on and of the bed!) and there is everything needed to feel cosy. The girl at the front desk is absolutely adorable. She helped me to book a taxi from and to the airport (she even got to the taxi with me to make sure I get on the right car), and to find to which terminal I needed to go. She also said she could help me book a tour of the city.

The host, Lucky, was very warm and welcoming. She helped us plan our time in Chongqing, and made sure that we felt comfortable. Even if we were in the city for a short time, we were very happy to put one hour aside and experience the tea ceremony with Lucky. She is very knowledgeable and we got to try some great tea. The rooms at the hotel are large, spotless, and with all the amenities necessary for a comfortable stay. At breakfast we had the chance of trying freshly-cooked Chongqing noodles, in addition to toasts, eggs, coffee, etc. We would definitely stay at Wuyu again.

The owner was very friendly and helpful - they even contacted me in advance to provide clear advice on how to get to the place, which made my arrival smooth and stress-free. Considering the spacious room, convenient location, and overall experience, I found it to be well worth the money spent. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!
