The place is amazing. I got upgraded for free and the room was very clean. The thing that I love the most is the location of this hotel. It is very convenient to reach everywhere, easy for the taxi to come and pick up. There is also a bus station right in front of the hotel. The neighborhood was amazing too. The area around the hotel was super beautiful and was one of the thing I loved the most in Hangzhou. You have to visit Xiaoxialong/ Hu Xueyan's Former Residence area, they are easy to reach by foot from the hotel and the vibe is amazing. The staff is also very friendly and helpful, could not really speak English but we managed with google translate so that would not be a problem at all. Last but not least, the price is amazing for the quality. I highly recommend this hotel for your stay, you won't regret it.

The property is situated on the quieter side of West Lake, away from the crowds but still close to major attractions. IMHO, the most stunning yet less publicized view of West Lake is just a 5-minute walk away. There are also many nearby beautiful walking paths to explore. Highly recommended!

The location was ideal for people who visit Lingyin temple, just a few minutes by walk to the ticket office. The Lingyin area is so green that one feels close to nature. One of our rooms has a spacious balcony with open view for the green hills around the village. The other room has artful wooden interior design, a blend of traditional and modern style. Found interesting Chinese paintings (copies) from Laoshu and we liked the traditional furnitures in the hotel. There's a lovely quiet yard with a big sweet osmanthus tree, a traditional moon gate and lion stone statues.
