We were genuinely and pleasantly surprised by this hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the owner himself and felt truly cared for by the entire team throughout our stay. The property is beautiful – spacious, rustic in the best possible way, and maintained to an impressively high standard for this region. What stood out most was the discreet and attentive staff: always present when needed, without ever being intrusive. You can feel they genuinely care about the well-being of their guests. All tours were organized directly through the hotel – smoothly, reliably, and tailored to our preferences. Transportation was also fully taken care of, which made everything stress-free. The meals were freshly prepared with care and love – a lovely touch that added to the overall experience. The pool was a great spot to relax after our adventures in the jungle. No request was ever turned down – we truly felt at home. One thing is certain: the next time we return to the Amazon, we will stay here again!

We were welcomed by the host Rebecca and she really made us feel welcome. She was very friendly. It was a very nice accommodation. The kitchen was fully equipped with cutlery, olive oil, salt, pepper, drinks.. we only spent two nights but if you have a longer stay, this is very convient! The whole accommodation was very clean and had all comfort needed. We could even leave our backpacks when we went on a three day jungle tour, so very friendly of them to keep an eye on them. If ever visiting Leticia again I would defenitly book again!

Casa amazilia is a recently renovated guest house in Leticia, where guests can makes the most of its outdoor swimming pool, open-air bath and garden.

Really friendly and chilled place. Angel and his wife Diosa were lovely and helped us to get everything we needed for a ferry trip we were taking to Brazil making life really easy for us. Also helped us to arrange local eco tours. Breakfast was also good, as was the refillable coffee and water filter for cold water whenever we needed it. Gracias Angel and Diosa!

Burú Nature Hotel exceeded every expectation. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel genuinely welcomed — warm, attentive, and always willing to help with anything I needed. Every meal felt like a fine-dining experience, with flavors and presentation I’ve never seen before in the Amazon — absolutely extraordinary. What impressed me most was how effortlessly the hotel arranged everything: activities, private guides, transfers — all handled smoothly, allowing me to relax and truly enjoy the experience. If you’re visiting Leticia or the Amazon, Burú is without a doubt the place to stay. My only regret is not being able to stay longer but I will most definitely be coming Back!

The location in a quiet reservation, 10km from noisy Leticia. We saw so many butterflies and dragonflies going past the house (of all shapes and sizes and lots of noises and frogs at night. The house is very comfortable and feels luxurious. It has two grand bedrooms and in the upstairs landing two single beds. The kitchen has plenty of utensils. There are mosquito nets. Staff were so helpful, kind, friendly. They couldnt have done more for us. The cleaner came twice and did a thorough job. We loved it and want to come back. Pick up and drop off included - a great help. Washing machine was a help as we were there for 11 nights. Comfortable luxury beds. Great value for money!

The location in a private reserve was great. Was very peaceful and very relaxing to fall asleep to the sounds of the reserve. Very easy to get to from town. The km11 bus stops right in front of the hostel. Buses go past every 20-30mins. Hosts were very welcoming and assisted with organising a night tour last minute. Also offered a bike for use to explore the area.

I only stayed for one night, however the apartment was clean and had nice furnishings. It is also situated in a good location. The host was really helpful in providing directions and waited until I arrived. Thank you!
