We had an incredible experience in this ecolodge, immersed in nature, away from people, facing the ocean and in a very comfortable room. Thanks to Elias for the wonderful welcome, to William for the impeccable organization and to Piiao, thank you for taking us to these sublime wild beaches, waterfalls, natural pools, jungles and thank you for your smile and your good mood.

I highly recommend staying at Villa Luz. Doña Marina is incredibly kind and welcoming. The place is in an excellent location, close to the beaches and town. The room was very clean and comfortable. She can also prepare breakfast for you, and even dinner if you’d like. She is always happy to help and can recommend places and answer any questions you may have. I would definitely recommend Villa Luz to anyone visiting El Valle, and I’ll happily come back the next time I’m here.

A very friendly family run homestay. Comfortable beds adequate shower and no mosquitoes despite being on the edge of the rainforest. Good restaurant 2 doors away. They arranged a private whale viewing tour with a local fisherman on our 2nd day
