I’m not surprised by the high reviews — the photos show exactly how it is. The place has a calm vibe, great breakfast and coffee, and a garden full of life. The night tour was amazing, with red-eyed and glass frogs. We didn’t see a sloth in the garden but did at Mistico Park and at the hosts’ farm, where we ate fresh rambutans! We didn’t feel like a tourist here but part of the family. Truly memorable stay. Thank you Leo and Rosaura!

The rooms have a fabulous view of the volcano and it’s a short drive or longer walk to town. The rooms are cleaned daily. The staff are very helpful and kind. There’s a shared tea / coffee area and pool. Really great value. We loved our stay here.

Location : I choosed Smithsonian room and there is a Arenal volcano view at my balcony which inspired me. I like hundred of birds feeding every morning at the restaurant for breakfast. And I like hiking trail too. Free trail offer at 8.00,10.00 and 14.00 pm. Next time I and my husband will stay here more than 1 nights for sure because there are a lot of activities here and front desk is very nice to service.

This tropical hotel is located next to Costa Rica's Arenal Volcano, 6 km from La Fortuna. It offers a natural hot spring, outdoor adventure activities, a luxurious spa and scenic volcano views. It was magical. Everything was so clean and staff were very friendly and helpful.

Great place in a fantastic location. The views were gorgeous and we loved sitting on the veranda watching the sunset. It’s in a good place for visiting Poas Volcano and the La Paz Waterfall Gardens and is only about 25 kms. from the airport. There were some stores and restaurants in walking distance and a quirky cafe where the owner has let his imagination run wild. The couple in charge of the hotel were super-friendly and helpful. Comfortable room and beautiful grounds, with cute rabbits!

I loved my stay at Ceiba. The staff was very friendly, Josue helped my with tours and when my phone broke. The balcony with views of the volcano is amazing, there is a little garden to hang out, easy to meet other backpackers. The beds are comfortable and each have their own light, plugs and lockers. Also it was very clean and a quiet location at night. Bonus: very cute young hostel dog Mate 🥰
