The property nestled in this beautiful forest near the falls. Frtiz and his wife are very friendly and gave us local recommendation. They had welcome drinks a s breakfast was delicious. The overall setting of the rooms were great. AC worked fine which is super important in humid climate. The rooms had distinct fragrance of euclyptus. I thought that was a good touch. Hot water also worked fine. Highly recommend.

Norem, Esteban and Valeria made us feel at home right away and went out of their way to accommodate us. Breakfast and dinner (with the hummingbirds around) were delicious, prepared to the point and with several dishes to choose from. The cabins are all new, very well designed and furnished, the bathroom with steady and immediate hot and cold water supply. A garden with a small trail are in the making and will make spending time in the crisp and clean mountain air even more worthwhile. We can highly recommend Curuba Lodge which became our favorite place in Costa Rica! Tip: Esteban can connect you with a few guides to see the rare and iconic Quetzal birds.

Authentic costarican hotel. Beautiful pool with loungers, beautiful flowers and amazing cacti, view of the mountains. Comfy clean rooms, nice bathroom, no air but high ceiling with a ceiling fan we were comfortable in february. Hostess was welcoming and accommodating, great breakfast outside. We had a short walk to a Mexican restaurant for dinner. Shuttle to airport not included but the hotel arranged it for us.

It’s rare that you struggle to find something negative to mention – but that was the case here. The internet worked perfectly, the bathroom was modern and spotless, the beds and sofa bed were very comfortable, and the air conditioning worked flawlessly. The kitchen equipment and appliances were all new, high quality, and fully functional. The TV, the pool area, the terrace – everything felt well maintained, stylish, and thoughtfully designed. It’s truly a top-class apartment and an absolute bargain for the price, which is more than fair for what you get. You can really feel that this is a newer, well-managed property where everything just works.
