Everything was so clean, nice and practical. Jochen even provides additional things like toothpaste, toothbrush, snacks, coffee etc. It felt amazing to stay in his place. There was no noise. The neighborhood is super quiet and safe. You can park right in the front. Jochen is a very kind host too.

The cottage exceeded my expectations and actually it made my trip so comfortable. I loved returning to the cottage in the evenings and having a nice chill time after a day of sightseeing. The kitchen had everything I could dream of, the table and the view was very pleasing. Even the curtains are selected with a very good taste. Everything in this house was perfect. When you wake up in a nice looking room on a very comfy bed and with a nice nature view from your window - your vacation is doomed to success. The bathroom is also very clean and everything was at hand. The towels are new and pleasant to use. I can't point my finger on anything what I did not like. All was perfect. I am happy to return to this place, because I had an amazing rest there. Also there is a very tasty Greek restaurant 15 minutes away from the cottage and the road goes through creek and fields, the views are very pleasing. We thought we were going to do BBQ (and the host provided us with everything needed for this!), but because the restaurant was so close and so good - we did not use BBQ.

The owners have really put their hearts into this.

The centre of Bad Marienberg was close by, with lots of restaurants, grocery stores as well as a variety of short hiking routes nearby. The room had everything we needed (except maybe a kettle - but we simply used a pot to boil water instead). We really enjoyed the bathroom with the new rain shower as well. The building was very quiet too, we didn't often hear the guests in the other rooms.

Very close to the Rheinsteig hiking trail and I would definitely recommend for hikers passing through. Great value for money.

The location is very calm and all the rooms are very comfortable, with nice individual themes. The exterior is funy and very nice for the ones with the British & Scottish spirit in the soul...the whole collectibles surrounding the place are just unique in their way...The Lady (owner) is very friendly and really delicious, same for all the employees which are fluent in English :-) And the breakfast a pure & delicious British Breakfast...
