Everything what we need we can find here. Shower quite big and with hot water and good pressure. Kitchen with all facilities. Room very clear. Owners very helpful and even deliver us to the city when we need it. In the night if the sky is clear it is possible to see stars.

The location is perfect for a relaxing and quiet recharge and connection to nature. The grounds were beautiful and the rooms look out onto pasture land where I could watch wildlife. Also, the place is far enough from most sources of light pollution that I saw the most stars I've seen in YEARS. Odense is about half an hour away by car for dining options or you can cook in the kitchen with a full stove/oven, or grill. The owners are so welcoming and clearly love their piece of area history having restored the buildings and quite proud of the intact millworks with a double wheel.

We loved EVERYTHING about this amazing property. Huge and very comfortable bedrooms with our own, more than fully equipped kitchen including a huge wine fridge to be able to purchase from. We were welcomed with amazing home made Danish dream cake. The breakfast provided the following morning was 10 star. Prepared by the lovely hosts Jeanette and John, with all fresh produce including baked eggs, sausage and bacon in ramekins, various fresh homemade rolls and pastries. And followed by every fresh summer fruit you could imagine, cheeses and sliced meats. We could not fault a thing about this stay. World class 5 star experience for sure. We had a lovely stay. We came by train from Odense, had a romantic dinner on the veranda, a walk in the beautiful garden and a quiet night. In the morning, after a good and generous breakfast, we headed to Egeskov castle by train. Note: There is a kitchenette available (≠ kitchen).

Beautifully appointed, eye for detail, comfortable, lovely beds, warm and cozy in December! And the guys even put a Christmas tree and some traditional dolls in our apartment, plus a nice bottle of wine on Christmas Eve! With a note in Dutch!! So attentive and kind. We loved it and want to go back in summer!
