Our room was comfortable and spacious and fairly quiet - we were at the front of the building so inevitably there was some road noise, but nothing too bad. The rooms overlooking the river are away from the road. There is a communal kitchen if you want to cook (or make coffee). The owner organised a river trip for us with a very good guide, which was a big help.
