Great value for the money. The common area is very nice and guests are consistently wonderful people. I also enjoyed the communal dinner. The staff will set you up with locally guided tours to Cotopaxi and local mountain guides for surrounding peaks (I highly recommend Javier and Jaime).

The hostel is just exceptional - the rooms , private or dorms, the dining room , the studio to practice yoga, the music corner with guitars, the spa. The guys really invested in design, and the place has its own spirit. The food was great, and a ton of hot water.

Absolutely recommend this place! For a small fee they also offer a wonderful turkish steam bath with fresh eucalyptus and herbs from the area, which is super nice after the strenuous hike.

We have been travelling for 2 months and this was our favourite place! You instantly feel at home when you enter, the fire on and it’s so cosy. The rooms are so clean and inviting and the food is great. Especially the pesto pasta (huge portions) also the best hot choc ever! The staff are lovely and even dropped us off in Latacunga. Such good value for money, we did not want to leave
