This is a cute little lodge at the edge of town, with fantastic views of the adjacent valley and nearby mountains—you could even see the Quilotoa crater from here on a clear day! We had a cosy and clean private room, and the bed was super comfortable. The included dinner was lovely, as was the breakfast with an incredibly large platter of fruits. We also enjoyed hanging out in the common area too, which has a toasty fireplace, a pool table, as well as table football. All in all, we were well taken care of by Victor and Mayra, and we highly recommend staying here for the night before starting on the Quilotoa Loop trek!

You will feel so welcomed by the family who owns the hostel - they are so kind and gracious and make you feel so comfortable and at home. The vegetarian meals were huge and delicious and there was banana bread available all day as well as coffee and tea. I cannot say enough about how wonderful our stay was here. The cat Theresa is so friendly and the sweetest little boy lives here!!

I loved the yoga classes with Silke and the jacuzzi after a day of hiking. The bed was extremely comfortable with a fluffy duvet instead of those thick heavy ones you often get at hotels in this region. The food was incredible and there was always a vegetarian dish for me. I stayed 2 nights but could've easily stayed longer if I had the time.

The location is perfect for visiting the Parque Nacional Cotopaxi, as well as other small towns nearby. Fernando and the rest of the staff were wonderful and very helpful. Fernando gave us advice regarding activities to do, as well as organizing the logistics for a cabalgata the same day. The food was delicious! Very recommended!
