Lovely welcome, great facilities, breakfast simple but served to the room, where we had facilities for sitting at a table to enjoy breakfast at our leisure. There is a book with lots of information about where to eat etc. We enjoyed a lovely swim on our return from a day out, which was very welcoming. We loved our stay here, and would definitely stay again if we were in the area!

The rooms at Hotel de la Poste are a masterclass in blending historical charm with contemporary luxury. Each suite is individually decorated, featuring elegant French furnishings, sumptuous fabrics, and thoughtful touches that evoke a sense of timeless beauty. Modern amenities—such as high-speed Wi-Fi, climate control, and a state-of-the-art bathroom—were seamlessly integrated, offering every comfort without sacrificing character. A particularly memorable encounter was meeting Julien at his antique shop, Maison des Brocanteurs. His passion for history and storytelling was infectious, and he graciously shared insights into the treasures on display—a delightful extension of the hotel’s own character. Dining at Le 1815, the hotel’s acclaimed restaurant, was an unforgettable highlight. Le 1815 delivers culinary artistry at its finest. The sense of family and welcome permeated every interaction, making my husband and me feel not just like a guest, but cherished friends.

The host it's very accommodating- we're arrived at night and there was no problem to get the keys at this late hour. Appartment was very clean. What's the real treat- appartment is situated in a historalical building, just in front of the cathedral, truly exceptional!
