Basecamp Wales offers family-run hostel accommodation in Llanllyfni, on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park and 30.3 km from Pen-Y-Pass and 8.2 km to the beach at Dinas Dinlle. It was an incredibly beautiful place, and what made it even more special was the warm welcome I received upon arrival and the kind farewell when I left. I truly wished I could have stayed at the hotel for an entire month. I will definitely be visiting again in the coming days, and I highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a wonderful place to stay—it really is exceptional. I’m already planning to return and stay for a longer period next time. My little ones absolutely loved the animals nearby, especially the chickens. They truly enjoyed the place.

Built by a visionary architect in 1925, Portmeirion Village & Castell Deudraeth overlooks the beautiful Dywryd Estaury. Staff were excellent. Weather was excellent. Room was excellent.

Situated within Snowdonia National Park, Aberdunant Hall is a 17th-century property set within 200-acres of woodland on an idyllic upmarket Holiday Home Park. The setting of this place is absolutely stunning, very peaceful despite there being lots of people there. The woodland escape suite was perfect, everything you needed, situated very close the main building and restaurant. The staff could not do enough and were lovely. Overall a fantastic stay and we shall be back

Perfect place to get away from the city! Quiet, stunning, cozy with a great view. We had a breakfast and 1 times dinner. One was from menu and on Friday we had the pizza Friday! Hands down it was the best food we ate in the area.

Truly wonderful place and people ❤️. Excellent location for hiking and a lovely scenic drive to Snowdon. Loved the little town too, pubs and restaurants are 5min walk, great atmosphere everywhere we went. All dog friendly too.
