Porto Veneziano Hotel enjoys a privileged location on the waterfront of Chania's Old Venetian harbour. It offers panoramic views and accommodation in a minimal navy design. Yiota worked the front desk. We were informed there might be a ferry strike which meant we could not leave Crete and go to Santorini. She was amazing. She made calls to the port authority, numerous times, and helped us figure out alternatives. The strike did not happen but we would have been prepared without her.

At a quiet and beautiful location on the coast of Kavos, Kavos Hotel & Suites boasts views over the Cretan Sea. It offers well-designed accommodation and a large outdoor pool with sun terrace. Our stay at Kavos on Crete was perfect! We were in a junior suite with pool (#6), and everything about it was amazing. It is in a relatively remote location, so absolute perfection if you really want to disconnect and relax. We actually saw more fish snorkeling in their cove than anywhere else! Food and drinks were great and well priced. Highly recommend for travelers who was a true break from their hectic lives!
