The aparthotel features family rooms as well as facilities for disabled guests. This was possibly the best hotel we have stayed in during our many trips to Greece. The room was a superb design with very high quality fittings throughout. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was first class with different local food served every day. The area around the pool and bar had very comfortable chairs.

In good weather, guests are welcome to sit outside. I liked that the property was close to the port. The owner went out of his way to make us feel welcomed. He arranged for a bottle of Prosecco for my bf bday. The communication between myself and the owner was prompt and fast! Also offering recommendations for food etc.

Boasting mountain views, Vourkari Village provides accommodation with patio, around 1.4 km from Gialiskari Beach. With sea views, this accommodation features a balcony and a swimming pool. The apartment also offers free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. The owners were very polite, very respectful and friendly. I would definitely stay again there in the future.

A refrigerator is also offered, as well as a coffee machine and a kettle. Each unit has a private bathroom with free toiletries. Free private parking is available at the villa. We booked for my father's 80th birthday and as they live in Athens it was a good location as was near and the facilities at the resort where perfect for him to not have to travel much. We were extremely happy with every aspect of the hotel especially the staff (Fotini was incredible and accommodating) the beach, the accomodation and the food where fantastic for the price and we had a great stay. Rooms at the Karthea are tastefully decorated with wooden furnishings and parquet floors. Each includes a fridge, a TV and free Wi-Fi. All units have a private bathroom with amenities and a hairdryer. We stayed here one night before heading up towards Loulida for a five night stay and two nights afterwards before leaving the island. We regretted not staying at Hotel Karthea for our entire stay on the island. The facilities are clean, the staff is professional and kind, and the location is excellent.
