This place is amazing! The patio directly on the water is spectacular, we spent much of our time sitting out there enjoying the view and spotting iguanas. The beds were very comfortable and the outdoor kitchen had everything we needed to make meals. The family really made our experience special. They are such kind people and super helpful. 10/10 recommend.

The place is away from the village in a lush greenery and we loved it! Service was super friendly and fast. They even helped us with the transfer to Tikal and back. Our double room was simple but big, with a big terrace with chairs and a hammock to relax and enjoy the greenery / to read etc. Bed was comfortable and had a decent mosquito net. They have a decent menu so we seldom ate breakfast there or had some drinks. The hotel is a walking distance from El Remate so we also walked to visit some restaurants or tienda for some snacks when we wanted to. My favourite thing for sure was the fact it's a little away and in the greenery, little hidden gem. Because it's close to the bioreserve, it was wonderful to hear the sounds of nature and especially have our first experience with howler monkeys howling 🙂 I would recommend it for sure.

Very pleasant stay and people who run it. Big enclosed yard to park vehicles, spacious and clean rooms, well worthe the money!

Zapote Tree Inn is located less than 16 minutes from Flores' airport and 4 minutes away from Flores island by boat, located at a privileged point to appreciate sunsets and sunrises overlooking the... Erick was really welcoming, responsive, and attentive to our needs and situation. Always ready to help and give good advice. The place is quiet, nice and has a nice view over Flores Island and the lake. You get to the hotel thanks to a small boat and the ones you take to get there and leave are free (otherwise it's 10Q per person until 10:00pm). Around the hotel there's a viewpoint, a beach and a small archeological site. For the rest you always have to take a small boat. Nice room, hot shower.

Offering a sun terrace with swimming pool, views of the Exequil Lagoon, a heliport and wooden décor, this boutique hotel is 10 minutes’ drive from the Mundo Maya International Airport. Beautiful hotel. Brilliant, faultless service. Fabulous Rooms with private hot tubs overlooking the lake. Food not amazing, but above average. The french toast was fantastic at breakfast. Incredible setting in the jungle. The little museum is fascinating. The included Monkey tour was a highlight and should not be missed!
