Port Aran House is beautifully and tastefully decorated, and you really feel good staying there. The kitchen is clean, and you can cook something if you like. Breakfast was outstanding: excellent homemade bread, scones, strawberries, blueberries, grapes, butter, jams, yogurts, eggs ... We truly felt at home, and the host was exceptionally friendly, giving us plenty of great tips on where to go in the evening and which cycling routes to take. The best advice he gave us was when we asked whether we should wait in our rooms for better weather. He said: "Those who wait never see the sun." And he was right: it rained for 20 minutes, and then the sun came out, and we swam on a stunning tropical beach. I warmly recommend staying here.

I thought at first it was expensive, though I didn't think much about it as there were no other available places when I booked. Yes, it is too much for one, but when you consider it is an apartment for 4, is cheap for what you get. Claire has really good taste and has done wonders with her house. She gave great tips about the island, helped me with the bike rental, also offered to take me to the pier and even helped me to arrange dinner if I wanted... she has installed a vending machine also in the hall for convenience. I would recommend to anyone.

El Aran Islands Hotel, en Inis Mor, dispone de amplias habitaciones con baño privado, algunas con balcones y vistas a la bahía y al puerto de Kileaney Kilronan. The hotel staff went above and beyond. I got a free upgrade into a chalet with a beautiful sea view. The pan fried sea bass I had for dinner was amazing. Everything was spotlessly clean and all the staff were great, particularly Joanna on reception who arranged for my phone charger to be put on the ferry to the mainland, after I left it in my room, and the hotel manager who took it down to the ferry port. Cannot fault this hotel, highly recommended.
