Breakfast was outstanding: excellent homemade bread, scones, strawberries, blueberries, grapes, butter, jams, yogurts, eggs ... We truly felt at home, and the host was exceptionally friendly, giving us plenty of great tips on where to go in the evening and which cycling routes to take. The best advice he gave us was when we asked whether we should wait in our rooms for better weather. He said: "Those who wait never see the sun." And he was right: it rained for 20 minutes, and then the sun came out, and we swam on a stunning tropical beach. I warmly recommend staying here.

Clodagh was super friendly and offered so many great suggestions to us. Breakfast area was lovely and the food itself was just what we needed to start the day. She even provided non-dairy butter for me with breakfast.

I didn't expect such a nice, comfy, beautiful and big apartment. I thought at first it was expensive, though I didn't think much about it as there were no other available places when I booked. Yes, it is too much for one, but when you consider it is an apartment for 4, is cheap for what you get. Claire has really good taste and has done wonders with her house. She gave great tips about the island, helped me with the bike rental, also offered to take me to the pier and even helped me to arrange dinner if I wanted... she has installed a vending machine also in the hall for convenience. I would recommend to anyone.

Aran Islands Hotel, on Inis Mor, has spacious en suite bedrooms, some with balconies and views of Kileaney Bay and Kilronan Harbour. It has a restaurant and bar and free internet access. Staff at reception was really nice and helpful. Rooms are nice and quiet comfortable. Fish at the restaurant was good and the pour a great pint of Guiness. Location is great to see the Black Fort and it’s only a short walk to the port. Minibus tours can be booked at reception and you’ll be picked up at the hotel.
