Incredible location overlooking the lake! The room was so comfortable and warm, lots of light and the shower was good and hot. Robert is the most gracious host and went above and beyond for us. He even dropped us to Castle Leslie for a wedding we were attending. Amazing breakfast prepared by a lovely woman, sadly I forgot her name but she was great craic! The woman who came to clean too was really kind and accommodating too.

Offering a restaurant, Riverbank, Country Pub and Guesthouse is located in the countryside 10 minutes’ drive from Carrickmacross.

Very pleasant boutique B&B. The water pressure of our shower was the strongest I've ever experienced, and most importantly the bathroom was properly ventilated! The bed was incredibly comfortable. The hosts welcoming and made a great breakfast. Awesome place to stay.

Our stay was simply amazing! The cabin is incredibly cosy, warm and beautifully equipped, with absolutely everything you need to enjoy a comfortable and relaxing getaway. The hot tub was a highlight, always perfectly warm even with the temperature outside at just 10°C! We also enjoyed the sauna and even had a Brazilian-style BBQ using the outdoor grill. ❤️ There is also a lovely outdoor fireplace with sun loungers and cosy blankets, the perfect spot to relax, enjoy the fresh air and take in the breathtaking views! Breakfast was delicious, and every little corner of the property feels thoughtfully designed to make your stay special. And we cannot forget the hosts, who were incredibly welcoming, attentive and thoughtful. You can truly see how much care and attention they put into every little detail to make their guests feel comfortable and welcome. It was one of those experiences that stays with you, and we were already wishing we could stay longer! We would absolutely recommend this place and would love to come back! ❤️
