Zostel Indore is one of the best properties I’ve stayed at! The staff is caring and will do things for you even before you ask them to! It’s particularly safe for women traveling solo. The female dorm is cute and pretty. The pool is awesome and the impromptu jamming sessions are something I’ll really miss! Overall, the property has a great vibe and crowd. I would give 5 more stars if I could :D

Though it is a new venture, just two months old, there were a few teething problems, vis. the Menu was not fully evolved. The staff went out of there way to produce out of Menu items. Missed a glass of wine/beer though as they don't have a Bar yet. The F&B, Front Desk, Maintenance and the house keeping staff are excellent and provided the requisite service with a huge smile.

Everything about property is excellent! Especially the hosts, their farm and the lovely dogs!

What I’ve found, is that when you visit India, the two main things you need is a place to stay that has adequate amenities and an owner that you can communicate with and who can help you. In Sunrise Bed & Brekfast we found both and in the highest degree. The room we stayed in was well maintained, with clean sheets and a modern bathroom and toilet. The building has a beautiful garden where you can relax and a terrace where you can watch the sunset and the surrounding area. It’s away from the roads and the village centre, so it’s peaceful and quiet, far from all the honking. It’s in walking distance from the village centre and the main group of temples that you will want to visit, i.e. the western group of temples. For the rest that Khajuraho has to offer, eg. the Panna National Tiger Reserve, the Raneh waterfalls and the rest of he temples (Eastern and South groups), you will have the great help and guidance of the amazing owner Veda. Veda was eager to help us with everything we needed, he understood our needs, explained everything and even suggested a program with us that we followed and worked out perfectly. He found tickets for us for the tiger reserve, although they were sold out! Because you will need a transportation vehicle for most of the sightseeing areas around Khajuraho, Veda also arranged for us cheap transportation with an auto rickshaw 🛺, which would otherwise cost us a fortune. We were lucky enough to have as a driver the wonderful Samim, who was always there to explain to use and give information about the various places we visited. He was always smiling despite the long drives. Regarding the food, the breakfast was very tasty and filling, they were offering us free tea and bottles of water or filtered water anytime and they also prepare dinner very cheaply which is also amazing and among the best Thali we had in India! I can’t imagine a more pleasant stay in Khajuraho and for sure I will stay in this place again and again every time I visit.

To complete my journey in Indore, my friend and my friend decided to reside at the park hotel. To confirm my details I spoke to Varsha the previous night who was extremely professional and kind enough to sort out our requirements as we were reaching earlier the following day. They were kind enough to accommodate our early check in, buffet services and more. The room service was prompt and there was a variety of food with different cuisines available to order. The rooms were clean and spacious and had all that was needed. Would be an ideal stay for those looking to travel for both leisure or business purposes. The distance from the hotel to the airport took an easy 35 mins. The distance from the hotel to omkareshwar took bout 3 hours and to mahakaleshwar an hour and 15 mins.

Everything was great, the staff is extremely nice, and proactive in providing their guests a nice stay. We felt extremely welcome. One of the best hotel experiences ever.

We had 4 sensational nights at Lalita Homestay, it's peaceful, rural, but a short tuk-tuk ride to town for only around AUD $4 one way. We walked to some of the Eastern group of temples from Lalita. The Western group of temples we took a government guide, Prem, spoke good English & had a passion for archaeology, we learnt a lot. Prem Kumar : +919425878122. John, who built & owns Lalita kindly offers an airport transfer service which we took advantage of. He has decorated Lalita beautifully & with style. Our huge room had a balcony,which overlooked the 'teeth mountains' & we could sit & watch the beautiful sunsets plus birdwatch. Pravan, who works at Lalita, was great, nothing was too much trouble for him- beautiful soul. Breakfasts were delicious, & we had a couple of evening meals, at an added cost, which were plentiful & tasty. We went to Panna National Park whilst at Lalita, organised by Rakesh, organise it in advance if you are considering going. Bonus for us was the 51st Khajuraho Dance Festival was on, it's free, & goes for a week. We managed to catch one night of it, magnificent backdrop of the Western Temples, open air performances. It happened to be wedding season as well, another bonus!! Walking, exploring the streets we saw & participated in a couple of wedding celebrations which was fabulous. All in all, we would love to re-visit Khajuraho & definitely stay at Lalita, maybe for the dance festival 😀 A big thank you goes to John & his team, you have created a special place & great you share it with others in a relaxed manner.
