What really made the experience special were the owners, Kavya and Rohan. They’re genuinely warm, friendly, and make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. It never felt like I was just a guest, more like I was staying with friends. The best part? The people. I met some amazing souls during my stay and made new friends effortlessly. Conversations flowed, laughs were shared, and the atmosphere made it so easy to connect. If you’re looking for a place in Pondy with good energy, kind hosts, and a community feel — Unpack Hostel is it. Would happily stay here again ❤️

The entire process of checking in was smooth and the hosts gave us plenty of details for us to be ready to explore the town. The meals provided (cooked by the hosts themselves) tasted soo good, they can easily give any restaurant a run for their money. Would definitely recommend trying their food. The cleanliness was also top notch. Would absolutely recommend this property to anyone coming to Pondicherry wanting a good home stay vibe and great location.

My daughter had broker her foot and everyone on the staff was already aware that she would be in a wheelchair. They had arranged for one that we could take out with us - and everyone went out of their way to make sure she was taken care of. From the font desk to the restaurant staff - everyone seemed to be in sync with the individual needs of the guests.
