Great place for our stay in Matera, it was walking distance to the city center and we could find free parking nearby. The room was big and had everything we needed, comfy bed and good shower. Italian breakfast at the nearby cafe was also very nice. Recommend for sure.

We stayed one night in a standard double room — beautiful, spotless, and very comfortable — and the second night in the Bubble Room, which was an unforgettable experience! The food and wine are exceptional, and the whole atmosphere is peaceful and elegant. A perfect combination of comfort, nature, and genuine hospitality. Highly recommended!

Made lunch reservations and when we woke up we had fresh local pastries and mine gluten free waiting for us Will definitely be going again.

Le Dimore Dell' Idris is situated in the Sassi area of Matera and offers individually furnished rooms with a private entrance and private bathroom with sensory shower. Fantastic experience! The cave-like appartment is stunning, very well designed. The location is so good that you actually get the best views of Matera right at your doorsteps. The parking option with transfer service, which was recommended by the hotel, was very convenient too.
