We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Tell Madaba Hotel and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Madaba. This Christian family-run hotel truly excels in hospitality, making guests feel completely at home. Edward, the son, welcomed us with genuine warmth and kindness, even upgrading our room—a thoughtful gesture that was a lovely surprise. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the mother’s exceptional cooking. The breakfast was not only delicious but also offered an incredible variety that felt almost limitless. The hotel itself was spotlessly clean, with bedroom slippers and toiletries thoughtfully provided. Its location in the town center is incredibly convenient; just a one-minute walk brings you to shops, including a well-stocked fruit store and several souvenir shops perfect for finding gifts to take home.

We stayed two nights at this hotel upon our arrival in Jordan, and it was a wonderful experience. Omar warmly welcomed us in the middle of the night with his friends (thank you for your patience!). From the very first moment, we felt like we were being hosted in his own home. Omar is full of great advice, always attentive and ready to help. The breakfast, lovingly prepared by Omar’s wife – a truly charming person as well – was absolutely delicious, with authentic local dishes. This place perfectly embodies Jordanian hospitality. Thank you, Omar, and I hope to come back one day!

The host, Rajaie was one of the friendliest I ever met. He helped me finding the place, even waving to me from the window to make sure I'll find the main gate. He was absolutely flexible, even offering me to swap rooms if I'm not totally content with the one prepared (but I was!). I spent a week in Jordan, staying at six places, and Rajaie's was the cleanest and most comfortable of all. I would really recommend his place – although it's called a hostel, it's more like a guesthouse.

They have built a great structure in the middle of the mountain, very close some secondary unknown hikes that are quite impressive. The building itself is made out of concrete, and it offers some rooms that are modern, big, comfortable, with everything and anything you need, with a good bathroom and hot water. The staff is very welcoming, and take care of you from the moment you arrive. Dinner and breakfast were very very good. We were alone, and we could feel the magic of the place from the very beginning. We had a great pleasant night. I would really recommend.

Fantastic - the home itself is big and you get your own apartment to yourself. It has a kitchen and a washing machine both in good order. The real highlight is the people though; Moath who is the host made sure to provide recommendations to us for Jordan and went the extra mile to make sure our travels were good. He leant us some pain relief for an injury and returned some belongings that we left behind to us. The food is also a highlight - the property offers dinner & breakfast which we definitely recommend. Part of Jordanian hospitality is large food servings and this is definitely lived up to.
