Ted’s Place was excellent. Ted-san & Ako-san went out of their way to make you feel very welcome & comfortable. They were excellent hosts. The place has been furnished to the very highest of standards. The breakfasts were excellent, they set you up for the day of cycling ahead. There are some excellent bike trials in the area. Ted is able to provide very high quality American ‘Speciliazed’ e-bikes to rent for a very reasonable charge. Definitely the best hotel in the region! The room was very nicely decorated, very clean and comfortable. Onsite free parking. Walking distance to a couple of nice local cafés and supermarket. Really enjoyed our overnight stay while cycling the Shimanami Kaido. It is a lovely restored house, beautifully decorated and we felt right at home. The rooms and beds were comfortable. There is a shared kitchen which is roomy and well equipped. Salt met us for check in and was very friendly welcoming. Would definitely come back next time and would recommend to others :)
