This is my favourite Capsule hotel I have stayed in. The building is a beautiful old school building in the charming town of Magome. My capsule had a little more room than the others as well, so i appreciate that. Great facilities include even an entire gymnasium. Very clean and tidy, friendly staff, affordable, You MUST stay here!

Best experience ever. Huge room with amazing river and mountain view. The onsite onsen was amazing. Complimentary clothes to wear onsite was an added bonus. Best sake I had in japan Free shuttle from village bus stop

Absolutely perfect, the best hotel experience in our 3 week Japan trip! Only a bit negative side is that there is only japanese breakfast option, however taken all the other things into consideration, still 10/10 experience.

Effective October 1, 2025, a lodging tax will be introduced by ordinance of Takayama City. In addition to the room charge, 100 yen per person per day will be charged. I absolutely loved my room. The guesthouse was larger than I expected. There's a 7 eleven just across the street which was very convenient. It’s also within walking distance of both the train and bus stations and Takayama Old Town. There’s also a small cafe downstairs that serves good coffee.

Ryokan Asunaro: A Traditional Japanese Inn in Takayama. Nestled just a 6-minute walk from Takayama Station and the Nohi Bus Center, Ryokan Asunaro offers an authentic Japanese inn experience. Clean and newly furnished. Large and comfortable room. Quiet. Close to the train and bus station. Great service staff. Delicious breakfast.

다카야마 역에서 도보로 단 2분 거리에 있는 Oyado Koto No Yume는 다채로운 장식으로 꾸민 일본식 객실을 제공합니다. 호텔에는 조식을 제공하는 레스토랑과 온천이 마련되어 있으며, 전 구역에서 무료 Wi-Fi 이용이 가능합니다. 이 료칸은 미슐랭 그린 가이드 재팬에 소개되었습니다. 객실은 다다미 바닥과 전통 요이불 세트를 갖추고 있습니다. The room was great, quite a typical ryokan room but it also had a bath in the room which is not something you find everywhere. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the station which was important because we had quite a bit of luggage, and one of the main reasons I picked it. It was also a convenient walk to the rest of the town and the morning market. The staff were friendly and helped us with the evening meals around at nearby restaurants. We also enjoyed the hotel breakfast on our last day which for us was a local selection that includes their famous hida beef. It was quite a big breakfast and very delicious.
