Great location and charming accomodation and room. The onsens were some of the best I've ever used in Japan, the extra hot bath is especially great on a cold night. Staff were extremely helpful and showed me places worth visiting in Kusatsu. Would definitely stay again.

Boasting hot spring baths in a spectacular outdoor setting by Takaragawa River, Japanese-style hotel Takaragawa Onsen Osenkaku is a 10-minute drive from Hodaigi Ski Resort. Outside onsen is spectacular. I absolutely recommend to spend at least one night there. Nature environment is astonishing. Very quiet place. Dinner and breakfast very good. The hotel is not new, as many reviews say, but i found it really nice. We has some extra needs and staff Made everything possible to Meet them. I really appreciate their help

구사쓰에 자리한 BUNA KUSATSU Onsen Inn에서는 편안한 객실을 이용하실 수 있습니다. 숙소는 지고쿠다니 원숭이 공원에서 47km, 구사쓰 시라네 산에서 15km 거리에 있습니다. 이 3성급 게스트하우스에서는 에어컨, 무료 Wi-Fi가 완비된 객실과 공용 라운지 등을 제공합니다. 각 객실에는 공용 욕실이 마련되어 있습니다. Location, staff, kitchen/common area and the private onsen. Parking lot was plenty. The hostess let us check-in early even though we arrived relatively early. The rooms were traditional style with everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Our stay at Tanigawa Valley Lodge & Coffee Roastery was lovely. We arrived a bit late, but the staff were still there to welcome us and check us in. We decided to try the Italian restaurant ‘Small Restaurant Sae’ just up the street, and it did not disappoint. The property is also within a 6-minute drive to a FamilyMart. The room was comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless. Breakfast and coffee in the morning were delicious. We ran into the property owner, Craig, as we were leaving, and he was very kind and gave us recommendations for things to do in the area. We would definitely stay at Tanigawa Valley Lodge & Coffee Roastery on our next trip to Tanigawa!

Hotel staff is friendly and really made us feel at home with their personalised service. We love the Kaiseki dinner, their sets breakfast, and their rooms are equipped with private onsen and it is Modernised and exceptionally clean. Their public onsen is spacious, clean and fully equipped.

키류에 자리한 Okiya Guest House & Tapas Bar에서는 정원, 무료 전용 주차장, 공용 라운지, 레스토랑 등을 이용하실 수 있습니다. 숙소는 구마가야 럭비 스타디움에서 35km 거리에 있습니다. 이 5성급 게스트하우스에서는 에어컨, 무료 Wi-Fi가 완비된 객실과 바 등을 제공합니다. Wonderful very kind hosts. Provided very helpful information on restaurants and places to visit. Very unique building.

구사쓰에 자리한 Oyado Yukizumi에서는 무료 Wi-Fi, 무료 전용 주차장 등을 이용하실 수 있습니다. 숙소는 지고쿠다니 원숭이 공원에서 46km 거리에 있습니다. 구사쓰 시라네 산에서 14km 거리에 있는 이 숙소에서는 금연실 이용이 가능합니다. 가족과 방문하였으며,위치및 직원 친절도 포함 모든면에서 대만족 아었으며 아침 조식도 퍼펙트 였습니다. 적극 추천 숙소입니다.^^

다카사키에 자리한 Ryutakuzenji 宿坊에서는 무료 자전거, 무료 전용 주차장, 정원, 공용 라운지 등을 이용하실 수 있습니다. 숙소는 우스이고개 철도문화마을에서 28km 거리에 있습니다. 숙소는 바 등을 갖추고 있으며, 이시단가이 계단에서 20km 거리에 있습니다. While the location was a bit out of the way (roughly 25min drive from Takasaki station), it was in a beautiful and quiet spot surrounded by cherry blossoms in full bloom. The room we had was the biggest out of all the places we stayed in Japan, was clean and comfortable, and had a private garden with covered deck and outdoor bath, which was absolute bliss after the hustle and bustle of Tokyo. The hospitality shown to us by the staff was exceptional, and we had no problem communicating through limited Japanese/English. They served traditional meals, which were beautifully presented and a delight to eat, having small servings of lots of different things. We made use of the free bicycles and had a great time exploring the area while getting a bit of exercise.
