The lodge is modern, super comfy, and Akira along with the whole team were fantastic. Even though we visited at the end of the season and were the only guests, they made sure we had everything we needed. Every morning, they prepared breakfast just for us, and we absolutely looooved every dish. The location was perfect for exploring the area. Can’t wait to come back!

Excellent location, very close (40 m) to shuttle bus, recommended ski rental shop with discount and one ride to the slopes with equipment, discount for ski pass if bought in the property, ski storage room and drying room for boots, nice breakfasts and Cody evenings with the fire place;)))

Ofreciendo vista al jardín, Wadano Gateway Suites & Apartments en Hakuba tiene hospedaje, bicis gratuitas, un jardín, un salón compartido, un restaurante y un bar. the room was massive - we got a free upgrade to a 2 bedroom apartment that could fit 6 people comfortably, with a fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer in room, 2 toilets, 4 beds and a massive smart TV with JBL sound system that supported netflix and disney+. it even came with a massive backyard with a full BBQ grill Would imagine this would be wonderful for large family getaways in seasons outside of winter (which we were in). We also loved the smart electronic bathtub that we could control the temperature of. Beds were comfortable. the staff was also friendly and spoke english.

You cannot wish for better hosts than Chikako and Koji san. From the moment of booking until after we left Hakuba they’ve made us feel welcome at their beautiful guesthouse. Other than that the location of the guesthouse provides great access to different ski resorts in Hakuba valley. After a day of skiing there’s no better way to relax than in the warm baths waiting for you at the guesthouse. Also, do not forget to try Chikako’s hotpot: 10 out of 10!
