The pictures don't do it justice. We were at the two bedroom house and the view, the furnishing and the decorations were breathtaking! Also there's 2.5 baths instead of 2 as advertised. The location is perfect - about 10 minute walk to the restaurants. However what really made our stay so memorable was the service team. They felt like family and were super responsive to every request on WhatsApp. From restaurant and onsen suggestions to helping us book tables. They sent their own car in a snow storm to rescue us from cortina when all taxis cancelled on us. Words can't describe our appreciation and thank you for making our annual family trip so perfect.

Thank you for the warm hospitality of all the staff and the excellent service, which made our first visit to Hakuba truly memorable. Our children thoroughly enjoyed playing in the snow in front of the hotel and just outside our room window. We were also very pleased with the hotel’s surroundings, which allowed us to comfortably explore the area on foot. The shuttle service to the ski resort was extremely convenient, located just a one-minute walk from the hotel. We would certainly choose to stay here again on our next visit to Hakuba.

Boasting a garden, terrace, shared lounge and free WiFi, The Guest House Japan Hakuba is situated in Hakuba, 2.8 km from Hakuba Iwatake Ski Area and 16 km from Hakuba Cortina Ski Area. Everything! Amazing guesthouse run by amazing people. I already miss it, will definitely come back. The futon is super cozy and comfy, the bathroom always clean. Thank you!
