The host was very nice and I would stay again in this house If I come to Arita anytime soon

We loved everything about Karatsu: the town, the beach and of course Akariya. It was lovely, well situated and very joyous. The room was super clean, the light was pretty. All of the common facilities were super practical. We met a lot of awesome people there, especially the owner, Suzy, who is fluent in English and a very kind person.

I was travelling with a bike, they were so nice about it and made so easy, which I was so grateful for. The dormitory was very comfortable and clean. The shared bathroom/toilet were kept super clean and tidy. The common space was very friendly and tidy, with a shared all amenities kitchen. It felt very at home! It's a very cute and homey vibe guesthouse! The area has a lot to offer too, would highly recommend staying there!

Hotel Karatsu Seaside nalazi se u naselju Higaši Karacu. Objekat poseduje i restoran. The onsen pool on the rooftop was awesome. The spa facilities were huge. You need at least 2 days to enjoy all of them. The basic room without onsen was spacious with an ocean view. Breakfast and dinner at the buffet and restaurants were in good variety and quality with local ingredients. Will love to visit again

This is the most beautiful place I have ever stayed in Japan by far, and this was my 5th trip to the country. We booked the traditional Japanese room and it exceeded our expectations tenfold. It was super spacious, comfortable and beautifully furnished. The host Hanneke was so lovely and helpful as well. I could have stayed for a month! Arita is a beautiful town well worth visiting if you have any interest in ceramics.

The restaurant prepared a special birthday cake for them!
