They showed us to our beautiful room which was elegantly furnished in traditional Japanese style with thick futon beds and fluffy duvets. Tea making facilities are provided. Our room looked out on a lovely traditional Japanese garden. The toilet and bathrooms are comfortable and clean. Breakfast was delicious and served in the atmospheric attached cafe. The guest house is a beautifully restored traditional Japanese building. Most highly recommended.

Nestled in a gorgeous, ancient temple complex, the grounds are extremely fun to hike/explore during the day, with plenty of opportunities to learn about the history of the place through thoughtful signage and the wonderful staff. The food was absolutely delicious - we were eating a feast of unique foods specially prepared for us every evening and morning, which made the experience epic. Okami-san and everyone else here gregariously welcomed us with cups of beautiful matcha, and even shuttled us to and from Yasugi station and to the Adachi Museum of Art. I will never forget this place!
