The facilities were very modern. Even though the toilets and shower were shared, it didn't feel like a bother and everything was so clean. Everyone was incredibly friendly- the lovely gentleman behind reception was so kind and remembered us later in the day so even before we had taken our shoes off had our room key ready. The included dinner and breakfast were delicious. Room was very clean and comfortable. Communal bathroom was clean- you are able to use the shower in the morning during the set times (bath is only in the evening). Location is excellent as only a short walk from the bus stop to the cable car. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent location, close to Okunoin Temple and Cemetery. Room were clean and warm as it was freezing outside. Breakfast and Dinner were delicious. You could participate in the ceremonies conducted by the temple monks. The night tour was also informative.

The building and the rooms are super traditional and charming and spacious and comfortable. There was a shaved ice machine and prepared ice and sirup, very tasty! Fantastic location, there is a great temple right next to it. The host was super friendly and helpful, he made the stay great!
