We had a mountain view room and we could see Mt.Fuji from our window. Very comfortable and clean and 2 minutes walk away from Mt. Fuji station. They also offer free basics like different teas, Japanese outlets, pajamas. Also they have a wonderful rooftop terrace from where you can directly see Mt.Fuji.

Location, service and the villa it self. It's amazing place and the service perfect. They offer pick up and drop off at the train station. Wonderful stay and we saw Fuji :) Will definitely stay again

Thank you so much for providing both pickup and drop-off! The owner was incredibly kind and friendly. Even though I went alone, I was able to enjoy the BBQ for 5,000 yen, and I bought some firewood separately to stay warm. The breakfast and BBQ prepared by the staff were both delicious! I visited in late October, and it was a bit chilly at night. There was a kerosene heater, but I think I set the timer wrong—it kept turning off every 10 minutes. Also, there was a slight kerosene smell. But the view was absolutely amazing, the accommodation was adorable and beautifully decorated, and the bedding was clean and comfortable. Sharing a restroom wasn’t a problem either. It would be nice to have rubber gloves for washing dishes! All the staff were very kind and helpful. If I visit Fuji again, I’ll definitely come back here and recommend this place to my friends.

I’m so glad we stayed at Mr. Michiku’s hostel. Michiku, our host, is the best. He picked me and my son up at 7/11 close to the station and dropped us back at the station the following day. He was very accommodating and helpful. He tend to our needs even for a short stay. The hostel itself is lovely. The interior is a mix of traditional Japanese and modern. We had a warm, comfortable and restful stay. We spent the night in a beautiful tatami room with absolutely amazing view of Mt. Fuji. I will definitely stay here again. It is quite far from the town center but I didn’t mind and loved walking around the Lake Kawaguchiko.

Kagelow Mt.Fuji Hostel Kawaguchiko has been newly renovated in September 2015. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. There are shared bathrooms on the ground floor, and Mt. Ubicación excelente. Well equipped bathroom. Free access to Fujiyama Onsen (used almost every day) and Fuji Q park (access 30 min before opening). Many eating places around. Don Quijote across the street. Great place to relax and visit Mt Fuji (15 min walk to bus stop to Subaru 5th station for Yoshida trail). Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Shrine 8 min with taxi or 40 min walk/bus (its 0 station for Yoshida trail to Mt Fuji).
