It takes only 10 minutes to walk to fujiq and half an hour to lake. Theres a huge mall 10 minutes away. They have projector with netflix/youtube etc. Staff do everything to satisfy any needs. They offers free shuttle bus when you leave.

If you're willing to splurge, I recomment getting a room with Mount Fuji view. Sitting in the bathtub on the balcony, watching the mountain, is an experience I will never forget.

Wafu Guesthouse Kashiwaya is located a 5-minute walk from Kawaguchiko Station and a 7-minute drive from Kawaguchiko Interchange on the Chuo Expressway. I love everything, the tradicional style was it!!! Im sad I didn’t stay more, the workers are so nice and polite, I really enjoyed staying there, great location too and I loved that I could cook there, it really makes me feel like home

Kagelow Mt.Fuji Hostel Kawaguchiko has been newly renovated in September 2015. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. There are shared bathrooms on the ground floor, and Mt. It’s cozy and the staff is very nice, clean place, well located and excellent value for money if you’re traveling on a budget

Situated right next to Fuji-Q Highland Amusement Park, Highland Resort Hotel & Spa boasts Mount Fuji views, large hot spring baths and spa facilities. The hotel is great, the breakfast is excellent, and there’s a view of Mount Fuji if there’s no fog or clouds. :) The onsen was amazing too; anyone traveling here should definitely try it. In early November, there was no snow on the top of Mount Fuji, something that hasn’t happened in 130 years. :)
