We have spent the best holiday of our lifetime in Rodis BOMA. We were six people and new to Africa. Rodis BOMA catered for every need possible: they have a private driver and jeep (top brand) and picked us up at the airport at 10.30. p.m. After the transport (around 80 minutes from the airport) we were welcomed by the housekeeper David, who lives on site - in a separate house. He guarantees absolute security and tries to make your stay as comfortable as possible The house, which we had for ourselves - ranks among the best types of accomodation we ever had. It comprises 4 rooms (all including a fashionable bathroom) with ample space and furnished according to the latest standards. We spent much time in the eating and living room which are adjacent to the well equipped and gigantic kitchen. We celebrated New Year's Eve on the second floor of the house, which includes an enormous terrace providing a 360 degrees view of the region (overlooking Karen Blixen's Ngong Hills). From Rodis Boma we undertook numerous excursions; Manu, the private driver, took us to the Giraffe Centre, Karen Blixen Museum, Nairobi National Park (a special Safari car was provided) or Nairobi City Centre.All these attractions are nearby. Rodis Boma is perfectly situated for visiting numerous top sights, and much more. You can easily find activities for 2 weeks, also including Kiambethu Tea Farm, for instance. We also had a barbecue in Rodis garden. David, the housekeeper, was responsible for the fire, and we did the cooking, a perfect collaboration and an unforgettable evening. We absolutely recommend Rodis Boma to everyone, particularly families, larger or smaller groups, experienced travellers to Africa looking for a home base or business people doing remote work. Last but not least, Rodis Boma offers a fair and accessible price, delivering outstanding quality.
