Free drinking water and a bar with great music that was frequented by the other 'villagers', who were communicative and inclusive. There's also a volleyball field that sees some action in the late afternoon! Local food and drinks a few km down the road towards the beach. Own transport needed.

The room is spacious, clean and has a comfy bed. AC works + moto rent available. Neither noise or bugs were an issue during my stay. The hosts are very nice and knowledgeable. They prepared excellent food and (medicinal) coffee, which is a great plus. The location and village is great, you can both relax and have fun. Friendly and funny cats come visit the property.

Objekat Sopheak Mongkol Guesthouse, koji je smešten u gradu Phumĭ Khlâng, nudi privatnu plažu, bar i besplatan WiFi u celom objektu. Superb gem in an unexpected rural location( easily explained as the hotel sits prominently on an intersection of 2 province boundaries) . All staff and (new?) manager incredibly courteous, polite and very helpful and efficient. Lovely spacious, light airy room with big double doors opening onto a big balcony enough for table and chairs outdoors times. It's so much more a full hotel facility than it's "guesthouse" name. Big Lobby Reception,Large restaurant, elevator, rooftop bar. High-quality furniture and furnishings, bedding etc. Hotel only 3yrs old and also refurbished or improved more in the last year Ideal if you have a vehicle, the only very minor negative is the location is about 1.3kms from Srae Ambel rural township and Passapp hailing doesn't operate there. But the hotel staff will readily find an arrangement for you. ( my recommendation might be a simple little buggy type free shuttle...?) Very very highly recommended, one of the best surprises I've found throughout my 3yrs nomadic traveling across S.E.Asia

His staff have been with him for a long time and are lovely people. The restaurant is the best in the village and the domes are so cute very well done.
