Riad Albaraka offers accommodation set 400 metres from the centre of Marrakech and provides an indoor pool and a garden. The air-conditioned accommodation is 500 metres from Djemaa El Fna. The riad features family rooms. The riad is a 7 minute walk from the food market square (basically the core of everywhere and all tours you need to take) so don’t be discouraged if you see you can’t reach it with a car to the door. The streets are small but incredibly safe. As a tradition here, we were recieved with some mint tea and pastries while they would take our information for the reservation. Beware to bring some cash (euros or dirham) to pay the tourist fee of the medina, all riads have it) Inside is a beautiful renovated riad, the bedrooms were big, clean and the bathrooms super comfortable, with ac and a free safe box to leave your important items if you want. The riad always smells beautifully to orange blossom and you can see the people working really taking care for it and has a little pool to take a dive and relax. Even tho you are 100 mt away from one of the busiest medina streets, you don’t hear anything from the place. Breakfast is traditional morrocan, with fresh fruit and juice, served in the terrace. They also offer you dinner and lunch and tours around Morocco, although we didn’t use them because we had them booked beforehand. They were really kind to offer us an early breakfast before an excursion, print our plane tickets and use their facilities until we had to leave to the airport in the afternoon after checkout. We are really happy with our experience here, and agreed that was the best value/stay we had in our trip. Super recommended!

Just enough on the edge of the Medina to avoid the chaos. After a day wandering the stalls of the Medina it's nice to have a break in a quiet area. There is a mosque next door so be prepared to be awoken at 7 am for the call to prayer. Restaurants and shops within a quick walk. Lovely staff and good breakfast. Fantastic ambiance. Small roof top dipping pool. Everything is very clean. Haman and massage on site. The massage was nice, we did not use the haman. The location was perfect for us. Room 1 has a king bed and a small twin. It worked fine for our family with one adult child.

Our room was spacious and comfortable, and we slept very well. We would definitely come back and can fully recommend this hotel.

Our stay at the Riad was absolutely wonderful. The location was perfect—just a two-minute walk from the main square. We initially worried it might be noisy, but it was peacefully quiet, making it an ideal retreat to relax. The food was exceptional, thanks to the brilliant chef, and the entire staff was incredibly kind. Abdulah welcomed us with such warmth that we immediately felt at home. We’ll definitely be returning (next time with our children!) and highly recommend this Riad to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience in Marrakech. Thanks to places like this and such wonderful people, our trip to Morocco was perfect.

The staff was extremely kind and professional, thinking about our needs ahead of us, giving us water bottles all the time and the best spots to have breakfast and dinner. The room was super clean and smelled very good. The bathroom had very good conditions, surprising for a hotel in a desert! What a lovely experience, for sure I recommend and will hopefully be back!
