Everything about our stay at Omaruru Game Lodge was perfect. From arrival to departure, the experience was seamless and relaxing. The lodge is beautiful, peaceful, and well maintained, with comfortable, clean rooms and great attention to detail. Dinner and breakfast were included and both were excellent — tasty, well-prepared meals with generous portions. The staff were friendly, professional and made us feel truly welcome. Overall, everything — the accommodation, food, service, and atmosphere — exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended, and we would gladly return.

Rooms are cozy and his pets are the sweetest (Iga, Japie, their dogs, Piccolo and Luna, their cats) , but that’s not the best part of it. Jessica and Peter went over and beyond in warming and welcoming us, from doing the laundry to setting up a fire after dinner time for us to chat and enjoy a drink. We felt so at ease with them, that we ended up sharing memories with Peter over a fire and under a starring night, surrounded by all his wonderful animals. Make yourself a favour and reserve Japie’s Yard when you come visit Swakopmund, you won’t regret it.
