Compact, well appointed and comfortable. Jan Louis's a great host and has obviously put plenty of thought into creating this apartment. Beautifully clean, everything I needed for the week was there, and a nice touch were the welcoming drinks and fruit. Jan Louis kindly makes off-road parking available which is a rarity in Almere. Only a few minutes from work and a nice wee supermarket nearby. The apartment is in a very quiet area, so a good night's sleep is assured. Aircon is there both for cooling and heating. For cooking there's a microwave and a double induction hob. There's a small dining table which doubles as a work desk and the TV is 'smart' with free-to-access channels. All in all it's a great place to stay and I plan to be back again soon.

The hosts were absolutely wonderful. The facilities are so nice. Sauna, steam bath and jacuzzi. It's out of the way but close enough to very nice restaurants. Highly recommend.

Everything was great! Marleen met me and gave me the keys. She was very friendly and helpful and answered all my questions. There were some complementary snacks: sugar-glazed almonds and two cartons with fruit juice. The apartment was large, spotlessly clean and had everything (a fully equipped kitchen, bathrobes (which were very om point, considering the fact the weather was very cold for the end of May, and it was a bit chilly in the evenings), a fridge with a freezer, a hair drier etc.) The neighbourhood is very safe (well, Urk IS a very safe city in general), there are two bakeries, a supermarket, a sweets store and a slaughter shop next door. The beach is a few minutes away by foot.

The room, bath/bed linen & shared kitchen were clean and equipped with all amenities. The icing on the cake during our stay was waking up each morning to a tasty breakfast prepared with care. Location was perfect for us as we appreciate peace, nature and morning walks. The surrounding walking routes will be even more beautiful in the summer. We highly recommend this property. Everything was exactly as described and just like the pictures. The house is spacious, comfortable and perfectly suited for our group of nine people. The living room is large and cozy, with a warm atmosphere, a fireplace and 2 tables. The surrounding park is beautiful and quiet. Our stay was truly amazing. We spend four nights there with a great pleasure. The owner is very kind and responded immediately to all of our questions. I strongly recommend this house!
