We loved everything about Sorrisniva and our stay. It was even beyond our expectations. And we did have some expectations. Everything was perfect ! The greet for welcoming, all the staff members, the restaurant, the activities and guides for those activities, the lobby where you can comfortably chill by the fire with hot cup of tea and a book and enjoy the beautiful view on the river and mountains... We loved the cosy vibe everywhere, the rooms were perfect, very clean, comfortable, nicely furnitured, beautiful and big bathroom, the big windows really give you this privileged feeling to be part of the wilderness of beautiful Northern Norway while being warm and cosy in your bed or chair with hot blankets... And if you're lucky enough to see some Aurora Borealis/Northern Lights, the terrasse by the room or the big windows, will allow you to witness them first hand while still be comfortably installed in your room ! Definitely will recommend to everyone I know and consider coming back myself as soon as I can ! Thank You !!!

Pudimos ver la aurora boreal 2 noches en el propio alojamiento. La cabaña estupenda para 4 personas, con todo lo necesario. Aunque no hay recepción, la respuesta por mensaje es casi inmediata. Sin duda repetiría y creo que es la mejor opción para dormir en Alta.

Rustic cabin with wood stove, wood burning sauna, beautiful views, well equipped kitchen. I enjoyed getting a tour of the hosts beautiful Norwegian elk hounds and Alaskan malamutes. There’s even a bbq hut but we didn’t use it. Friendly hosts and lots of peace and quiet.
