If you are looking for a place where you can step directly onto the sand, this lodge is absolutely perfect. The beachfront access is exceptional and wonderful. One of the best parts about this location is the beach itself. It is a favorite spot for locals, which tells you everything you need to know—they definitely know where the best beaches are close to Portobelo! During the afternoon, the beach comes alive with a great local energy as families bring music and picnic by the water. However, if you are worried about noise, don't be. By the evening, everyone leaves and the beach completely clears out, leaving it incredibly quiet and exclusive to lodge guests. Because I visited during the low season, I was actually the only guest there, making my evenings wonderfully peaceful and serene. 💡 Quick Tip: I highly recommend renting a car for your stay. Having your own wheels makes it incredibly easy to get around, explore the town of Portobelo, visit the nearby islands, and really experience the surrounding area. I had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend this lodge to anyone looking for the perfect balance of local culture and peaceful nights!

Amazing!!!! We loved this place, peaceful, natural, many animals around, fantastic!! Sebastien has so many tips, made our stay unforgettable, we could join Jungle and Beach for our 2 last days in Panamá, just perfect! Would have love to stay longer to see more!! And have to say that going into the Jungle with Pascal was amazing, such an incredible feeling to go through this nature and felt really safe with Pascal!

If you're planning to visit Panama and love the jungle, nature, and wildlife, this place is a must-see! Vista Caribe is located in the heart of the jungle, where you can hear the incredible sounds of nature, including monkeys, frogs, and lizards. The rooms are very clean, and you have a stunning view of the Caribbean Sea. The pool area is peaceful and beautiful. The owners, Frank and his wife, go out of their way to show you the surrounding wildlife, and they prepare fresh, delicious food. The people in the area are warm and kind, and they can even give you a ride to the shop or a nearby restaurant. I highly recommend this small hotel!!

The staff was super friendly and attentive, especially Iris. She was always willing to make my stay the best and always gave me useful tips about the town and things to do in it with a contagious positive vibe. The back porch was incredible. It was 15-20 steps away from the seashore. They had a shared kitchen with everything you need to prepare your own meals if needed.
