We booked this place quite blindly for 6 nights after a business trip to Panama City. We came without any big expectations, but this hotel turned out to be the best choice! Built and maintained at high European standards, this hotel offers a very pleasant stay, away from the city, which can be a bit too chaotic. There is absolutely nothing negative to write about this hotel, but let me touch on some negative comments about the distance and road from the center of Bocas. The hotel is 10km from the city Centre amid in the nature, something we really appreciated. There is a cheap bus available about 6 times a day, we also rented bikes just around the corner or used taxi. I can imagine that a drunk taxi ride back to this hotel in the night can be uncomfortable, but if you are this kind of traveler, then probably this is just not the right place for you. The staff ist very present and helpful, all speak fluently English (this is not self explanatory here!). The hotel is new, better than many others here around and it looks like in the pictures (or even nicer!). The food is freshly prepared three times a day and better than anyplace else we ate! Especially the green Thai curry was amazing. There is fresh water available all the time and they offer good Cocktails. The Bluff beach is just across the “road” and is probably one of the nicest beaches we visited, with very few tourists. We felt really safe all the time. Sloths, monkeys, frogs, birds and small crabs can be observed directly from the hotel garden. Price-value is just on spot! Other guests were also nice and calm, the atmosphere was very warm and friendly the whole time of our stay.

Roam Yoga and Wellness Lodge was absolutely wonderful. The location, in a secluded ocean-side spot on Isla Solarte is ideal, a true haven. Our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, with a view into the forest and the ocean beyond. We ate all meals at Roam’s restaurant, which were superb, extremely healthy, creative, original and tasty. Meghan and Ryan, our hosts, were very warm and welcoming. They offered advice on things to do in the area, and arranged tours and water-taxis as needed. Our stay could not have been better, a truly memorable experience.

From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this hotel was something special. The staff greeted us with warmth and genuine smiles, instantly making us feel welcomed and valued. Their friendliness and eagerness to cater to our every need were unparalleled, making our stay not just comfortable but truly delightful. Dining here was an experience in itself. Despite being a bit away from the city's hustle, the hotel offered a gastronomic adventure that easily surpassed local tourist spots in Bocas Town, both in quality and price. Each dinner was a surprise with a different menu, showcasing a variety of delicious, well-crafted dishes that left us eagerly anticipating the next meal. The affordability of these gourmet experiences was the cherry on top, providing exceptional value for money. The hotel's design ingeniously balances social interaction and private tranquility. The communal areas invite engaging conversations with fellow travelers, creating a sense of community among guests. Simultaneously, numerous secluded nooks offer peaceful sanctuaries for those moments when you just want to lose yourself in a good book by the beach. This harmonious blend makes the hotel ideal for both couples seeking romance and groups of friends looking for a shared adventure. The view of Bird Island from the hotel is nothing short of breathtaking. Its beauty serves as a constant reminder that you are staying in one of the world's most picturesque locations. For the adventurous spirit, the hotel provides kayaks for exploring the serene ocean. However, the staff’s wisdom in advising on weather conditions underscores their commitment to guest safety. They remind us that while the ocean's beauty is mesmerizing, respect for nature's unpredictability is paramount. Finding a hotel that strikes a perfect balance between outstanding service, exquisite dining, social and private harmony, adventure, and safety is rare.

Divers Paradise Boutique Hotel features a terrace, bar and on-site dining in Bocas Town. With free WiFi, this hotel offers a 24-hour front desk. Guests can enjoy sea views. The hotel is decorated with unique dive items, the staff is very friendly, the room is spacious, clean, modern, with balcony with sea view. The restaurant area is very nice and the food was excellent. The deck area is good. The hotel location is great, Bocas Town is within a walking distance with several restaurants. The Bocas Center Dive Center is in the hotel and is a great option for scuba diving. The dive masters are great, the boat is excellent and the best is that they split large groups into smaller groups, each one with their individual dive master.

Set in Bluff Beach, 6 km from Bocas Town, Oasis Bluff Beach features unobstructed views of the beach and ocean. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Oh my goodness, let me tell you about the most amazing hotel experience we ever had - it was like paradise on steroids! First of all, the location was killer. Right in front of the beach with waves crashing, it was so surreal and peaceful (no need for a white noise machine like I do in Brooklyn). I felt like a mermaid basking in the sun, with the ocean as my soundtrack, while the cutest baby sloths, colorful birds, and other amazing animals were doing their thing, adding to the beauty. It was like living in a Disney movie! But let me tell you, it was the hosts (Simon and Wendy) who really stole the show. These guys were the most adorable, hilarious and attentive people I've ever met. They had us in stitches every day, cracking jokes and making sure we were having the time of our lives. I felt like I was staying with family! The staff (that are like family to Wendy and Simon) was equally amazing - always friendly and ready to help with anything we needed. And let's not forget about the hotel's furry ambassadors, the cutest dogs ever: Jack and Lucky! They were so friendly, and I swear I sometimes spent more time petting them than sunbathing. Honestly, I never wanted to leave this place. I could have stayed forever, sipping on spicy Margaritas, doing my morning meditation on the beach and listening to the waves. If you're looking for a fun and unforgettable getaway, I highly recommend this hotel. You won't regret it! Oh and the restaurant of the hotel is the best too, will need another review on that.

Absolutely loved the stay and the staff is super helpful as well, cannot recommend it enough and will definitely be booking it again whenever I return to bocas!!!

Mosana Reef Garden B&B is set in Bluff Beach, 5 km from Bocas Town and 26 km from Buena Vista. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Free WiFi is available and free private parking is available on site. In comparison to two other accommodations, Mosana was our highlight. If I had known about them prior, I would have made different accommodations for most of the time in Bocas del Toro and stay with them. Nadia and Salvatore are excellent hosts. Our room had a comfortable bed, bath and outside patio with kitchen accessories and a small refrigerator means you can stay here for a number of days very comfortably. A sea level concrete deck outside offers guests sunbathing and access to the water for wading and swimming. A few steps away a covered patio stands along the coast line adjacent to the kitchen area where Breakfast and dinner can be served. The food prepared is very good-excellent! Prices good! I would return here in the future.
