Can't say enough good things. Johnny was an amazing host and this spot is right on the water with a beautiful view of Huahine. There are kayaks you can use to paddle over to the small island or upriver. I loved meeting Johnny's sweet mum and this is really a way to experience life in Ra'iatea. Johnny gave me a custom tour of the island. Bring mosquito repellent, as they are plentiful on the island. A net was provided, so I slept well.

Gill and Harriette have been family to us! They are amazing - the villa is super nice and clean - we had access to a private beach - and we enjoyed our talks and discovering Raiatea through their suggestions and recommendations. They have two villas in the property - so it is quiet and reserved. Great comfort, their kitchen has everything you need. You can ask for suggestions on tours around the island and Tahaa. We loved our stay and we hope we are going to see them again in the near future. Thank you for the long chats discovering the polynesia culture. Raiatea will stay in our hearts!

We loved everything about our experience and stay with Isabella and Edward. They are wonderful hosts and their property is clean and in a fabulous location. You will need a car to travel to them. You should hire a car anyway to see the entire island, its gorgeous. We enjoyed conversing with the other guests during our stay and the breakfast of bread and fresh fruit was delightful. We highly recommend staying at La Maison Du Voyage and look forward to going back!

The setting is unmatched with quiet, beautiful views and great value for money. The additional touches of waters, snacks, shampoo etc. was lovely. Whilst it is a guest house that is near the home of the family, it feels very private in your own apartment with bathroom/kitchen/ private seating. The family who run the property are lovely. The cat and the puppy are super cute.

The best place to stay on Raiatea! The room was incredibly comfortable, the bathtub was such a nice perk and we loved the little beach. The hosts were so friendly and helpful, they went way out of their way to make sure we were taken care of and had everything we needed!
