I loved that it is locally owned, Abigail, JR and their family are such lovely people and so hospitable, welcoming and helpful. The children are so sweet and the family do everything to make your stay more comfortable. Also the backpackers I met at this hostel were the best!! It definitely draws a certain kind of traveller. The chill out places are lovely, dorm room is huge, big double beds and awesome sunrise views if the weather is right! Also love the friendly and weird ginger cat and wifi worked well!

Charming resort in the middle of a lush jungle. Incredibly friendly staff, always willing to help. The room in the main building is great, quiet air conditioning and a hot shower with good pressure. The breakfast that is included in the price is great. Renting a scooter directly from the resort is a nice extra. Definitely recommend this place.

This is an exquisite property with private villas , an excellent restaurant and very lovely staff. The villas are large , airy , each with its own pool and balcony, from where you can see some breathtaking sunsets. The outdoor bathroom is an added gem . If you're lucky to be here on Saturday , you can do yoga facing the sea. There is also a small beach where you can go a snorkel if you like. the restaurant is hands down the best on the island - the menu is tastefully done with some well crafted cocktails too. They use local ingredients , and have some really amazing dishes and drinks. everything about this hotel is beautiful, the location , the decor, the view and the property. Thank you for an amazing time!

More than a simple homestay: Ray and Samantha (and of course the fantastic cook Ata Mercy!) made us feel part of their family. The house is very clean, close to the port, in a beautiful green area. The bedroom was huge and the bed so comfy!! But more than everything else I appreciated this sense of home. They invited us to eat together every day and it was the best filipino food ever!! Chatting, sharing ideas and life stories, karaoke nights...it was such a pleasant stay! Everything was exceptional! The place is organized and clean, the tent is spacious and with so many details to make you feel welcomed and taken care! The owners and all the staff are lovely, and the food was also super good. It was seriously one of the best places we stayed.
