Clean, comfortable, friendly place, it was ome of my favourite on my 5 months in Asia. Was a pleasure to stay here!

The place was great and the cottages were very comfortable. The woman who attended us helped us a lot!

To resume : I FELT AT HOME. The staff was friendly, the facilities good and good location. I rent a scooter bike directly at the hotel and used the shuttle to the airport.

We are staying here for five nights - we have already stayed four. The rooms are nice and very clean and there are only four rooms. There is a small terasse in from of each hut, but the really great thing is the cozy shared terasse with hammoch, couches and lights at night. From the terasse you can watch the garden and the ocean and enjoy the mornings with all the birds waking up, as well as the beautiful sunsets. The staff are so nice and helpful. This is really a little gem, and I would for sure stay here again going to Camiguin.

Sometimes, luck really plays a role when choosing accommodation, and in the case of **Sun House Rental**, we hit the jackpot! 🎰🏡 A little house on the edge of a coconut palm forest, waking up to the sound of birds or a lazy water buffalo grazing right under the window? This isn’t just a place to stay—it’s **pure tropical poetry**! And then there’s Domenico—the host who not only offers a scooter rental at a fair price but also treats you to **homemade bread and fresh cow’s milk**. As if that wasn’t enough, he even gives you a free ride to the airport! This isn’t just a host—this is the **Filipino version of a Sicilian nonno**, serving not just breakfast but **pure family warmth**. Good thing the flight got canceled! Normally, that would be a nightmare, but for us, it was an **extended paradise** on Camiguin. The only mistake? Not planning **a longer stay from the start**. I've never experienced a more welcoming staff, everybody was amazing. The location, the people, the food and the atmosphere were perfect!! 10/10

The accommodation is so nice and clean. The staff are all accommodating most especially Sir Jerome(owner). He will give you all the tips on how to travel Camiguin. From the places to visit to the recommended restaurants. And also, even the owner himself will drive you to the restaurants for dinner or lunch for free since they only offer breakfast. Moreover, the breakfast is extravagant!! They have 4 villas to accommodate guests and each one of them is really cozy and clean so even if you don’t go out, you can have a very good rest. I enjoyed my stay at Balihao so much it's hard to know where to start. The thing that first struck me was how friendly and welcoming all the staff were on arrival, I chose the pick up from the airport by one of the owners Steve and was taken to the resort in a comfortable air conditioned car, I think this was well worth doing and used the service again several times during my stay. When I arrived I was given a coconut drink, cold towel and there were a friendly line of receptionists greeting me with a sign with my name on saying welcome which was a lovely touch, as soon as I was shown to my villa I was very impressed with the size, privacy and tasteful decor particularly for the price. The owners have clearly thought very carefully about the sympathetic design of these villas but they also have a luxury feel and very homely, I particularly loved the outside shower this was such a nice way to wake up each morning. What I began to learn during my stay was the incredible story of the property, once a family home and then a familys dream to run a resort that supported the community and island they grew up on, run sustainably and using all local ingredients and sustainable solar even named after the local bird that I saw several times living above my villa! The restaurant and bar is also worth a separate mention, the food was refreshingly different with a healthy but delicious spin and I tried some things I hadn't eaten before but would absolutely have again, the food had so much flavour and the fruit and vegetables are all sourced locally and taste incredible, the cocktails are also different and feature local fruits, I tried most of them and couldn't find one that I didn't like!
