It’s well located, close to Puerto Galera, and although it’s near the road, it’s surprisingly quiet at night, and traffic didn’t bother me. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with working (though a bit loud) air conditioning, comfy beds, hot water, toiletries, toilet paper, a kettle, drinking water, and good Wi-Fi. There’s also a great restaurant at the entrance where you can have breakfast and enjoy solid meals between 9am and 9pm. The staff were friendly and helpful as well. The bed is pretty comfortable with multiple pillows. The place is also clean (though a little run down, here and there).

The shower was fantastic – strong pressure and perfect temperature, which made it really refreshing. The host was incredibly kind and helpful, even allowing us to check in early, which we truly appreciated. Having the option to cook our own breakfast made us feel right at home. It was a comfortable, welcoming place to stay.

A good location for a relaxing getaway in Puerto Galera, Ponderosa Golf and Resort is a bed and breakfast surrounded by views of the mountain. The property features a garden, bar and parking on-site among other facilities. The property features sea views. The accommodation offers a shuttle service, while a car rental service is also available. Views are crisp and the room was great! The staff were an absolute blessing during our stay and gave us a truly unforgettable stay. Special thanks to Weng, Analita, Fritz, and all the Ponderosa staff who were so helpful and kind!

The accommodation features karaoke and room service. We had such a lovely experience during our stay! The staff were warm, friendly, and very accommodating from start to finish. Our room was spacious at 60 sqm, spotless, and offered a stunning view of the beach—definitely a highlight for us. While enjoying the beach, one staff member kindly approached us and offered snorkeling goggles, and their lifeguard stayed nearby to watch over us due to the big waves. We truly appreciated the extra care and attention to our safety.

Everything about the place was really lovely, the location, atmosphere and facilities, but the staff were exceptional in going out of their way to organise us a taxi to our next destination with a reasonable price. The breakfast was also lovely, and it was very easy to get to the lodge from Balatero Port as there was a private driver there already. Overall wonderful stay in every way, I’m very glad to have chosen this place and would absolutely recommend to anyone visiting Puerto Galera
