Everything about this place is exceptional….. it’s the staff that make this place 5*, the owner Richard was very friendly and accommodating, Jeff at the bar / restaurant was an angel! What a character. Also the reception staff Jeanette and Marianne was amazing, they literally scheduled the whole trip from reception, any day drips / bike hire / dives and the whole transportation logistics…. Ver picked us up from Calapan port in his car because we couldn't get a boat to Balatero port and it was such a relief after a long 3 hour boat ride from Batangas to Calapan. Ver is probably the friendliest po I've ever met. His vibe, the way he talks exudes friendliness. I liked the location as well. It's just well situated in the middle of the hill, no tourists which is good but keep in mind that you'll need earplugs since there's a lot of noise from dogs barking, roosters going crazy at 4am in the morning, etc. Had an excellent stay at Ver's place. I highly recommend his place!

While enjoying the beach, one staff member kindly approached us and offered snorkeling goggles, and their lifeguard stayed nearby to watch over us due to the big waves. We truly appreciated the extra care and attention to our safety.
