Staying at Puro Dão was a truly fantastic experience. The hotel itself is a beautiful building with a modern Wabi-Sabi/Japandi-inspired aesthetic, where concrete meets light woods and lush greenery. As soon as you enter the reception, your eyes are drawn to the stunning plants and the large windows framing the breathtaking views of Serra da Estrela. We loved everything about this place. The spa, in particular, is outstanding. We spent most of our stay enjoying the pool, which offers an incredible panoramic view of Serra da Estrela. Everything in the spa area was impeccably maintained and felt very high quality. We were especially lucky to see Serra da Estrela covered in snow, making it an unforgettable experience to relax in the warm pool while gazing at the snowy landscape. The staff also deserve special praise. Everyone we encountered was incredibly polite, helpful, and always welcoming us with a smile. Breakfast was another highlight. The buffet was beautifully presented, and the food was delicious. Overall, Puro Dão exceeded our expectations in every way. A peaceful, stylish retreat with exceptional service and views; we would absolutely love to return.

Our children enjoyed the pool, where you could swim both indoors and outdoors. The staff was friendly and helpful, and kind to our children. Breakfast had many options and we also had a nice meal at the restaurant in the evening.

Staff very friendly, parking free in own parking garage under hotel, atmosphere in lobby and elsewhere so nice. Room small but very nicely organized. We upgraded it to 4th level with a view for €35, worth it. Breakfast served at the table was luxurious and more could be ordered like pancakes etc. Loved it. PS we had a small dinner in the restaurant: please do as it was wonderful.

Especially Antonio, the waiter, and Matheus, who welcomed us exceptionally well. Both took the time to share valuable information about Tomar and Portugal. In addition, the restaurant A Praça serves truly delicious dishes.

All the staff were outstanding in helping with our trip to this marvelous location in such a serene area of Portugal. My only regret is we did not arrange to stay in the hotel longer. Super help from our server for supper. John our server not only made our evening feel very special but he also made some wonderful suggestions for the rest of our trip including somewhere to find some cheese that we enjoyed with our supper. We both found the cod main course splendid. Your staff made this short stay for us feeling relaxed and ready to continue our journey.
