The hotel is very quiet as there are only 8 rooms, all with river view. It’s my second time here and I have already booked my next stay.

The views are amazing!! For once even better than promised by the pictures👌 Everything worked, and the quality is well worth thw price. We stayd there on a quiet night but it may be good to check in advance if there are bigger events happening - it’s a popular wedding and party venue, for a good reason😊

Located in Mesão Frio, a 35-minute drive from Lamego, Imaginário d´El Rei features a seasonal outdoor pool and sun terrace. Everything is wonderful! A little piece of paradise! Magnificent views! The owners are delightful, warm friendly & incredibly helpful!! The infinity pool & jacuzzi has the most incredible views. Now we have found this gem of a guest house we will return . Overlooking the scenic Douro River Valley, Quinta da Casa Cimeira, Guest House, Wines & Food is set in a historic country house and surrounded by a garden and vineyards. I can only endorse what other reviewers have said. This is a fabulous experience if you stay for at least 2 nights and get to know travellers from other countries. Great food, wine & port.....all free flowing & generously dispensed by the affable Miguel. Just book it now, you won't regret it !

With its own orchard and vineyard, this 4-star hotel is situated 800 metres from Lamego’s centre. Guests at the Lamego can also savour the local cuisine for lunch and dinner. Really nice room with good facilities and a beautiful view. Great breakfast. The spa was excellent. The breakfast and check out hours were more relaxed than normal hotels which made the stay feel extra relaxed.
