All the staff were outstanding in helping with our trip to this marvelous location in such a serene area of Portugal. My only regret is we did not arrange to stay in the hotel longer. Super help from our server for supper. John our server not only made our evening feel very special but he also made some wonderful suggestions for the rest of our trip including somewhere to find some cheese that we enjoyed with our supper. We both found the cod main course splendid. Your staff made this short stay for us feeling relaxed and ready to continue our journey.

Ova 250 godina stara plemićka kuća sa istorijskim nameštajem i artističkim dodacima nalazi se u blizini mesta Sera da Estrela. Svaka tematska soba podseća na stariji način života. The house is an old manor full of character and charm, right in the center of Manteigas. The room is very spacious, the heating works great and the bed is comfy. The staff is really friendly, and went above and beyond to provide vegan breakfast options for us, after we asked at the time of booking if there would be any. They got us plant milk, yogurt, cheese, butter and galantine, and even made delicious apple pastries and pancakes for us! That's on top of what I assume is their usual, "accidentally vegan" assortment of different kinds of bread, cereal, fruit and jams. We couldn't be happier.

The breakfast is really good and the restaurant of the hotel has good food with affordable prices. The hotel is very well located in the Serra da Estrela, you can reach many different attractions from there. The city fo Manteigas is also very nice. I really recomend it.

This hotel in Guarda’s centre is located at Portugal’s highest point, at 1000 metres altitude. It has a restaurant overlooking Serra da Estrela. Hotel was very clean and the staff were all extremely helpful. Breakfast was very good.

The staff were as welcoming as always (I've stayed here several times before) and the room was exactly what I needed. Breakfast was good and the view from the breakfast room is spectacular.

The host left some goods from the garden which we used cooking our meals. The host also gave us some tips on what to visit during our stay in the area and was keeping in tough during our stay.
