What a wonderful gem of a place! We loved our stay in Slottsholmen. The design, service, views, story... it was all in all very special.

The breakfast was fresh, great quality and variety and Kristina, the owner, was available and made me very welcome at the morning buffet. The beautiful manor building in which I stayed was tastefully furnished with period pieces and was clean and cosy. The bed in my spacious accommodation was incredibly comfortable and in such a peaceful place I slept very well. The grounds and surrounding area are very picturesque and tables outside made it good to be able to socialise with other guests. I'd definitely recommend it for a peaceful, countryside stay.

The room, which was located in the garden house, was large enough, beautiful and clean. The garden made it very cozy. The possibility to grill outside can be very nice, especially in beautiful summer weather. Breakfast is served in the room. This is very convenient, but of course it limits the choice. Everything was very tasty though.

We stayed here for skördefest in autumn (end of september). Outside it was allready cold, but inside it was cozy and warm. We liked the scandinavian design (count all the lamps ;) Our host provided all the information about trips and activities on Öland in several languages (go to trollskogen!). The appartment isn't acutally IN Mörbylånga city, but about a few kilometres away. But there is a really nice coast way to Mörbylånga and an ICA Supermarket is near, so that was ok for us. A highlight was the very clean and large bathroom with the big shower.

Best family friendly hostel I've stayed at. It's an old school, our bedroom was half a classroom -- great play facilities and gymnasium and very spacious kitchen and common areas. The association that runs it really care about their community and keeping the building alive and take a lot of pride in creating a great experience. A very lovely place to stay and well located for Astrid Lingrens world. Don't miss visiting the nearby church, a fantastic piece of architecture!

Within reasonable driving distance to Astrid Lindgrens Värld, surrounded by beautiful farm setting with some georgeous trails, very kid friendly. We as a family of five with very young children managed very well in the small cabins. The toys, the layout and the animals made our stay exceptional, and the farm tour was a treasured bonus.

Smeštajni objekat Drag 171 Villa Sjödal nudi vrt i klima-uređaj, a smešten je u gradu Drag, na 22 km od znamenitosti Centralna železnička stanica Kalmar i 22 km od znamenitosti Zamak Kalmar. There was so much luxury in this well-planned apartment that we regretted only staying one night. The separate undercover and glassed-in verandah with BBQ and comfy lounge puts this place on an entire next level, and that is without mentioning the jacuzzi that was already hot and ready and super clean upon arrival. Even the air-conditioner and dishwasher was a touch of convenience which shows the thoughtfulness of the host. Very convenient in the middle of our long road-trip was the washer and separate dryer which allowed us to do multiple loads in one day. Clever stairs which takes up minimal space to to the generous sleeping area on the landing above, a large TV which can be enjoyed from the big and comfortable bed on the bottom level, and all you will ever need in a kitchen while enjoying the view of the water through the kitchen window. Small added luxury items like designer coffee mugs and imported wine glasses made us feel extra welcome and added to the high level of comfort the host is clearly aiming for.

Dating back to 1881, this family-owned hotel is located in central Västervik, right next to Västervik Train Station. It offers individually decorated rooms with free Wi-Fi access and cable TV. Comfortable, lovely interior design, welcoming garden with white tables and chairs, greenery.

Set between Lakes Toven and Ålsjön, these tastefully decorated cottages and rooms are 25 km south of Västervik. The cottages offer a BBQ, kitchenette and private patio. The breakfast was the best! Very delicious and nutritious! The facilities where excellent! The location was a dream!!
